I have a problem. Whenever I make what I think is a cool design, I’ll make one in every colour that I can find in my bead drawers. It’s like a compulsion. One day last month I decided I would make a few toggle necklaces, with gems and charms hanging from the ring end of the toggle. Turns out ‘a few’ is 27. I haven’t gotten around to listing any in the shop yet. Seems I never get a listing bug with the same intensity to match the designing bug. I’ve got to get around to fixing that. Recently, I’ve been feeling the urge to spruce up my Etsy shop. I have plans to change my banner and I already switched my avatar from an abstract sort-of-floral image to a close-up photo of one of my designs. And then the other day I started wishing for a fresher, prettier way to package up my jewelry, as a special treat for my buyers (and for the eventual recepient if it’s a gift). continue reading »
